    SHERIFF

    SHERIFF
    The sparks just flew, that's what you're going to say?

    SHERIFF
    I wonder why things like this don't happen to me.

    FLETCH

    SHERIFF
    Were you using a little drugs you brought from California, by any chance?

    FLETCH
    Just some Beaujolais.

    SHERIFF
