Han kanske har sett sina bättre dagar, men INGEN får glömma att han
en gång i tiden var världens roligaste.

FLETCH
Amanda Ray is - was - my attorney. She was working on my briefs.

SHERIFF
You come into town and you all just hit it off?

FLETCH
So to speak.

SHERIFF
The sparks just flew, that's what you're going to say?

SHERIFF
I wonder why things like this don't happen to me.

FLETCH

SHERIFF
Were you using a little drugs you brought from California, by any chance?

FLETCH
Just some Beaujolais.

SHERIFF
Beaujolais?

FLETCH
It's a pretty popular drug made from grapes.

SHERIFF

FLETCH

SHERIFF
(weary)
I guess you just want to make it hard on everybody. Well, we'll see how you feel after some time in the tank. You all come.

FLETCH
(looking over his shoulder)

SHERIFF

FLETCH
What's the charge?

SHERIFF
Pissing me off.

FLETCH
